"When I first became interested in NLP, it was quite by accident. I came across a one day basic introduction program and was wowed in the first hour. As soon as I could, I attended my first Practitioner program. I quickly figured how best to adapt the technology of NLP into business applications.

Since then, I have personally trained with most of the 'major players' in the field in the 1980's. I met Richard Bandler early in my training and his attitude and skill appealed to me. An American author on personal development. He is best known as the co-inventor  Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).
Bandler continues to lecture, consult and produce media on NLP. Post-1980 some of Bandler's work revolved around the NLP concept of submodalities, i.e. "the particular perceptual qualities that may be registered by each of the five primary sensory modalities" . He is also known for his mastery of chaining states and the use of nested loops. He also developed follow-up systems known as Design Human Engineering (DHE) and Neuro Hypnotic Repatterning (NHR).  He has authored many books such as Magic in Action, Using Your Brain for a Change, Time for a Change, and recently Get the Life you want and Guide to Trance-formations.
